There is a huge market for roller shades in Florida which is by far one of our most popular products.  You can select roller shades manufactured in house or those from other manufacturers depending on the fabric and style you are looking for. There are over a hundred different fabrics to choose from within light filtered or blackout shades.

On this particular job, the client wanted a motorized system for the roller shades. These blinds are a 5% fabric, color white linen motorized with battery power.

The blinds in the bedroom are light filtered shades and are manually controlled. Behind the light filtered shades we placed one motorized blackout shade with side rails to stop any light from entering the room. Great for those who like to sleep in on the weekends!

They don’t call us the Sunshine State for nothing! And with that in mind we suggested to our client for their windows a Top Down/Bottom Up blind system.  This system allows you to either have your blinds close from the bottom or top allowing for maximum distribution of sunlight and/or privacy throughout your home.  These particular blinds are Hunter Douglas 3/4 Applause honeycomb shades. For the sliding glass door we used the same honeycomb shade material and color but in a vertiglide so they open like the door itself.

Roller shades are a popular choice for these beautiful Florida views with the blue sky and beaches.  What we do is couple a blackout shade with light filtered Roman Shades. They are opened individually to allow for privacy or view. The light filtered Roman shade permits a full view while maintaining a cooler atmosphere inside.  The shades are motorized with a choice of a hand control or a wall switch. As you can see from the photos below this creates an extraordinary effect.
